Coendurol Freezer On Wheels (FOW)
Coendurol® FOW is an aqueous solution of inorganic salts with corrosion inhibitors. Its
superior non-corrosive and thermal properties that make it an excellent choice against
traditional glycol water mixtures in freezer applications. It offers excellent protection against corrosion for different metals in coolant circuits of freezers e.g., Aluminum, Steel, Nonferrous metals, brass and copper and has higher specific heat capacity and low viscosity at low temperature compared to its counter parts making it a smart choice for permanent heat transfer fluid. The use of zinc and galvanised parts is not recommended for this as well as for glycol water mixture.
Area of application:
A Ready to use Coendurol® FOW can be used for
• Freezer on Wheels ( Ice Cream)
• Tank in tank type Deep Freezers
• Shipper Box
• Ice Cream Trucks
Application Methods:
Coendurol® FOW is ready to use product and dose not require any dilution. It is
recommended to mix thoroughly before use. Before filling of tank or packaging ensure it is cleaned and free from dust / particles/ water and glycol. Coendurol FOW shall be directly filled. Systems previously used with uninhibited glycol or salt based PCM must be thoroughly flushed with water otherwise the corrosion inhibiting effect of the product will be impacted. Any other type of coolant being circulated in the closed circuits should be kept completely separate. Similarly, any system used with coendurol should be thoroughly flushed with water. Any empty systems should be thoroughly inspected before filling with Coendurol® FOW.
